The last time I blogged was June 4, 2008. Right about the same time I started riding my bicycle to work. A daunting 5 miles one way but at the time well worth the exercise. Fast forward a few weeks and we end up at July 4, 2008. Independence Day. I was tasked with manning a booth at the local Freedom Fest put on by the Morale Welfare Department on Post. 12 hours later and our FRG only made an additional $50 after expenses. Lesson learned; next year we are only selling glow sticks. Fast forward a few hours and it is 2:30am on July 5th and our neighbors have decided to line up a string of firecrackers down our street with our house right in the middle of the string that was lit from both ends. Needless to say cops were called and it made for a longer day to be an even longer night. Fast forward again to 6pm on July 5th and I tell my husband that we need to go to the local discount store to get a pregnancy test. His response: "are you pregnant?" Sunday morning July 6th i take the test with anticipation (hubby and I have been trying for over 1 year to start a family) within in seconds both lines appear bright pink! Hubby's response: "whohoo". Let's bring us up to date.
Today is November 9, 2008 and I am 6 months pregnant or 24 weeks for those who keep track with weeks instead. Our little miracle is due sometime at the end of February 2009. We are not finding out what our little one is going to be therefore hubby has affectionately nicknamed our little one "Clumpy". I am feeling great the first 4 1/2 months were the hardest so far. All day morning/nausea sickness, headaches, fatigue and smells would set me off something fierce. I quit my job in 5 weeks time and I am currently hanging out with Clumpy and Lexi whilst hubby is away on training for an entire month. He should return just a few days before Thanksgiving.
Now that I have been able to sit at my computer for longer than 15 minute intervals I created a little Thanksgiving Mini for you.
Let's see it has 8 elements 4 papers and 1 upper case alpha. I hope you enjoy it!
